With Blessing, Padmashri Sakthi Arulthiru Amma Avargal & with the constant support & guidance of our Beloved Correspondent & Respected Principal, The GSCASH (Gender Sensitisation and sexual harassment) committee organized a "Breast Cancer Awareness Drive at APDCH. As the month of October is observed as Breast Cancer awareness month, the program focused on creating awareness about Breast Cancer and its prevention methods. The female teaching and non-teaching staff members, Postgraduate students, and interns actively participated in the program. The participants were informed about their social responsibility in helping the Breast Cancer patients and also encouraged to donate hair to Breast Cancer patients. A brief note on early detection of breast cancer and the need for hair donation was emphasized. The participants were encouraged to donate hair on 24th October 2021 at the "Hair Donation Drive" organized by the college in association with the Rotary Club of Hubli. The steps to cut and donate hair was explained to the participants.
