On October 25, 2021, the APDCH's GS-CASH committee hosted a WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM for CRI, Post-graduate, and teaching and non-teaching staff. Prof.Dr. A Vasantha Kumari, Head of Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, made the welcoming address, followed by Prof Dr.R.Ramya, Orthodontics, who introduced the chief guest, Prof Dr.Mahima Tilakchand, conservative dentistry and endodontics, SDM college, Dharwad, gave a virtual guest lecture on the theme " Empower the soft power" in a keynote address, vice-principal Prof Dr.V.Sudhakar recognized our postgraduates and non-teaching staff for donating hair to cancer patients. The GS-CASH committee, in partnership with the library committee, purchased literature that focused on women's empowerment and gender equity for the library.
