The dental education department training program for the month of January 2022 has been conducted through the google meet virtual platform on the topic; 'CLINICAL & PRACTICAL SKILL IN DENTAL EDUCATION' by Dr.Deepak.C, Associate professor, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Sri Ramachandra Dental College & Hospital, Chennai between 2-3 pm through google meet platform. The program highlighted the necessity of skill training for the dental curriculum, explained various methods to teach the practical & clinical skills employing mannequins, simulation lav, software, & virtual reality. Various tools for delivering the skill subset based on the levels of assessment were highlighted. Additionally, the advantages & disadvantages of chairside teaching techniques were discussed. The importance of developing assessment parameters for skill subset training integrating horizontal and vertical learning methods was elaborated. Feedback for the webinar was received from the participant.
